General Electric is an iconic American manufacturing company. However, the GE we’ve known and loved since 1892 is no longer. In November 2021, GE announced it would divide into three distinct companies focused on the business units of Aviation, Healthcare, and Energy. This transition was completed in early 2024. Although GE is now three separate companies, GE is still focused on building a world that works and ensuring the future does too.

In July 2022 we were tasked with announcing the three new names of the separate companies. Here’s how we announced the historical moment to the world.
